Project records

[OVERVIEW]

RFI logs, submittals, change orders, daily reports and meeting minutes.

Project records show how decisions were made on a job. A buyer reads an RFI thread and sees the question, the answer and the revision that followed.

Closed projects carry the most value because the record is complete. We work from exports, so no one at your firm re-keys anything.

[HOW WE PREPARE IT]

Four steps before anything leaves your firm.

Preparation runs on exports. Your staff keep working in their systems while we do it.

01

Inventory

We list what exists, where it lives and how complete it is.

02

Rights screen

Counsel checks each category against your contracts and your clients’ rights.

03

De-identification

Archeon removes client names, addresses and personal data from what remains, and your team approves every cleaned file.

04

Packaging

Cleaned files are organized and described so a buyer can review them. They pass through a temporary process and are never stored.

[WHAT STAYS OUT]

Set aside before preparation starts.

Drawings, models and specifications attached to an RFI or submittal stay out of the default offer. The log and the text of the exchange are considered, after names and addresses are removed.

Federal or security-sensitive work (CUI and ITAR), personal data and protected health information are excluded from every license. Project drawings and models are included only with the building owner’s written consent, after Archeon removes identifying details and your team checks each file.

[PRINCIPLES]

How every license works.

01

You keep ownership

You keep ownership and copyright and can keep using your records. Any exclusivity is negotiated, priced and in writing.

02

You keep your copyright

Licenses are for AI training. Your firm keeps ownership of its records.

03

Nothing upfront

You pay nothing to start. Archeon’s fee is paid when your firm is paid.

04

Terms in writing

You see the numbers in writing before you sign, and your counsel reviews the license.
